Community Quilts
Community Quilts is an outreach group of the Bluewater Quilters’ Guild. The group receives requests from local non-profit or charitable organizations to provide quilts for individuals and families they support.
Twice a week, on Tuesdays (9 am-12 noon) and Thursdays (9 am-1:30 pm), a group of quilters from the Bluewater Quilters’ Guild gather at Pauline’s Place, the Guild’s studio space, to make these quilts.
Ongoing projects include donations of comfort quilts to Brightshores Cancer Centre for people receiving cancer treatments and “Sensory Activity” quilts for the Alzheimer Society, other groups and individuals.
